Introduction

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the first Mortgage Mindset Blog.  For those of you who aren’t familiar with me, my name is Andrew Arnone, and I am a Mortgage Agent with Rock Capital Investments in Toronto Ontario.

This blog is meant to educate people about mortgages in general, but will also delve into some of the lessons that I have learned in my first year in the business.  The majority of these lessons are not specific to the mortgage industry.  They can be applied to any line of self-employed business, or anyone who works in sales, or just want to better your mindset.

Here is a breakdown of how each post will work. There will be weekly posts, going out on Wednesdays. They will start with a mortgage industry update, followed by three new term definitions. Then I will move into a discussion of sales systems, and techniques that I feel could have a more universal application.

Each post will be sent out along with an email to those of you who subscribe to the weekly email list. The emails will go out on Wednesday mornings, and will have an overview of the post, and a link to this page.

Following that, I will narrow it to three mindset lessons that I am toying with. This is a more general discussion, and I am just trying things out. I am not an expert by any means, just someone who is trying to keep their mindset focused on their goals for life.

Finally, I will have a book recommendation that I have read that I found helpful.
